Furlough and SEISS see 'no changes' despite June 21 delay

The Prime Minister’s official spokesperson confirmed the SEISS and furlough scheme will end in September as expected, with support to dwindle during the summer months.

This includes no changes to the ban on commercial evictions, which is still due to end on June 30.

Currently, the Government is paying up to 80 percent of wages up to £2,500 a month as part of the Job Retention Scheme.

From July, Government contributions will fall to 70 percent up to £2,187.50, with employers having to subsidise 10 percent.
