"Pension Credit can be in the name of the licence holder, or in their partner’s name if they’re a couple and live at the same address.
"If you or your partner don’t receive Pension Credit you’ll need to continue to pay for your licence."
Pension Credit itself gives the eligible claimant additional money to help with their living costs.
As well as money and the free TV licence for Pension Credit claimants over 75, some other forms of support may be available for people claiming Pension Credit.
